Welcome Tournament Directors

If you are a tournament director, you are well aware of the challenges involved in producing a smooth running, professional event. If you have never run a tournament, you will soon find out!! There is always some little thing, and sometimes some big things that fall through the cracks and cause a lot of commotion and reeling by the staff. The USAAGA hopes to help you overcome this challenge.

The USAAGA has run many tournaments over the years, and we have learned a lot of valuable lessons when it comes to planning and execution. The larger the event, the more essential the preparation becomes. As you are aware, we have run some very large tournaments over the years, and they have been fairly successful. Our goal here is to pass the lessons learned and tools developed on to you so that you can avoid some of the pitfalls that many tournaments fall prey to. Some of the information and tools we share are proprietary, and some is just common knowledge. In either case, it is here in one place for you to use as a reference as you plan your event. And we don't profess to know it all, so if you have some information or tools you would like to share with the group, send it to us at info@usaaga.com, and we will distribute it to the rest of the group ( and of course, use it ourselves!!)
